Ladies Meets Themes

In the last year we had some fun themes for the monthly ladies meet and I thought that I should make a note of them so that when I get to the next station I can reuse them! In fact you might like to do them in your stations right now.

The last one I attended was Lohri. Festivals are the easiest to do. The décor and food get fixed by the occasion and you just need a game or two and you are through. They did throw in an interesting twist to their tambola that we enjoyed. After every 5 numbers they called they would ask a question which had an on the spot prize. It’s answer was a number that we had to cancel after that. Fun twist to the normal game.

The one before that was a Slumber Party. We all went in our Pajamas and the game was a hair make over. They had a round of impromptu antakshari as well.

Another notable one had been “Black and White”. Dress, decoration, eats all were of these two colours. The entertainment saw ladies in black and white costumes enacting snippets of songs from black and white films.

The roaring 70s came to visit. They had all the high hairdos, and hem lines. They had a similar dance routine. For the game it was a cabaret per team. And some on the spot questions of 70s heros and heroines and their kids today.

Will add more themes when I have the time!
